Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
No appointment is needed. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, and booking is optional. To book a set time, call +82 2-517-7125, message us on KakaoTalk or use the online form. If you have urgent symptoms, call the clinic first.
Can I see a female gynecologist?
Yes. Gynecology at Hommage Clinic is led by Dr. Park Yuna, a female OB/GYN specialist. You can also ask for a transabdominal ultrasound instead of an internal one if you prefer.
Which tests can be done on the same day?
A pelvic ultrasound is done during your visit, and samples for a Pap smear, HPV test, STD tests and blood tests can be taken the same day. Laboratory results usually follow within a few days, and the clinic contacts you to explain them.
Is gynecology covered by insurance for foreigners in Korea?
Foreign residents enrolled in National Health Insurance pay a co-payment for medically necessary gynecology care. Visitors without NHIS pay the clinic directly and can ask for receipts for their travel insurance. Cosmetic procedures are not covered by NHIS.
How often should I have a gynecology check-up?
Most women benefit from a yearly check-up, with cervical screening at intervals based on age and previous results. See our well-woman exam page for what a check-up includes.
What should I do if I think I have an STD?
Avoid sex until you have been tested, and book a confidential appointment. Many infections can be confirmed from a single swab or urine sample. See STD testing in Seoul for test timing and what each test detects.
